Libertas 1 May in Rome

As Libertas supporters from around Europe get ready for their trip to Rome this blogger is quite amused at how little will be on offer when they get there.
despite the fact that the various branches of the pan European party have never met to discuss policies the actual convention will begin at 11 in the morning and end at 4 pm. There will be a buffet lunch and that will be that.

How can they decide policies in a half day convention that breaks for an hour for lunch? The whole event is obviously just a publicity stunt.
Given the fact that there are a wide range of differences between the pro Abortion Libertas in Holland and the anti Abortion Libertas in Ireland, Britain, Poland and France as well as the fact that the far right Libertas parties will be there with the centrist ones one would expect there would be a lot to discuss to ensure a cohesive platform that makes some sense. Well No that won't happen.
What will happen is a bunch of speeches, photo calls and video-taping for Youtube.
For the poor followers of the Libertas all this will cost them 4 full days of their lives. Most of their time in Rome will be spent sight seeing and wandering around the ancient city.
Surely this time would be better spent discussing policies and the future of Europe?
